Personal Statement
Hi. I am Reese Hertel, and I have played soccer since I was 2-years old. My first pair of shoes were pink and white Adidas tennis shoes, which helped me learn to walk and run thereafter, at 9-months of age. I have loved soccer my entire life. Having a dad whom not only played college soccer, but also coached soccer for over 20-years, has grown my passion for this amazing game. With two younger siblings playing soccer, our family spends a majority of our time on the soccer field.
As a person, I strive to be the best on and off the field, physically, academically, and emotionally. Dedication, poise, loyalty, and perseverance are my finest qualities. I am team-oriented, with the team goals always in mind. I believe a team bond is tremendously important, and I strive to promote cohesiveness of my teams.
The greatest compliment I receive from coaches is I see the field with great vision and I am very coachable. I am a strong, midfield player; however, I can play any position on the field with success. I can genuinely say I work hard and love to play this game. I am a fierce competitor, who creates goal scoring opportunities, and I look forward to doing so for my college team.
