My entire life I have wanted to be a college goalkeeper. That dream sort of became a reality as I earned the starting keeper job on varsity at Sentinel High School as a freshman and started every game, beating out the upperclassmen. It was then people started telling me that I need to get my name out there if I want to play college soccer. I am a hard worker, always looking to get better, I absolutely love attending keeper training. Keeper training gives me another excuse to continue to work as hard as I can and to exceed standards I have set for myself. I attend indoor training sessions in the winter during basketball season, always looking to get better. Even if I can’t fly around on a gym floor, working on footwork and other things is always fun. I seek out those who are willing to train me. For example, I have worked with Jay Anderson, who has won 7 boy's state championships for Hellgate High School in Missoula. In addition, I have had the privilege to train with Natalie Hiller-Claridge, former Lady Griz goalkeeper. I love to soak up the knowledge from experienced soccer coaches in the Missoula community. I feel like I possess strong leadership qualities and the ability to connect with all of my teammates both on and off the field. I love to have fun and laugh, but when I need to focus, I focus. In addition to soccer, I also participate in the Spartans basketball program. Playing basketball helps with my cross-training to stay in shape when it isn't soccer season. School is also very important to me. I always attend class excited to learn something new in every subject. Throughout the rest of my high school career, I am going to strive to maintain a GPA of 3.85 or above.
