The truth is that I’m addicted to success. The grit that forms to get it, the hard work, the energy. And that final euphoric feeling of reaching that goal. During my Sophomore year, I put in the relentless effort and was rewarded with a spot on the Varsity team. Playing in those games tested me in ways I never imagined, but I grew into a much better player because of it. The increase of competition fueled me to dig deeper, to give my teammates more of myself. This is the same drive that I apply in all aspects of my life to have a strong moral character, the right grades for what I want to do with my future career, and to constantly remain a fit and able athlete. Approaching my Junior year season, I am prepared to do my absolute best for the success of my team and family.
