Emily Lewis '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Emily Lewis and I am currently 17 years old. I have played soccer since I was 4 years old and has been my main sport ever since. My freshman year in high school I made varsity and was a starter for left back. We qualified for states that year but it was unfortunately cancelled due to covid. My sophomore year again I made varsity and was a starting center back. We won the 3a state championship for girls soccer. My junior year I was a starting center back and a captain for my high school team. We  won first place in regionals and qualified for state as well. My senior year for soccer has just come to an end but had great success. I played a starting center defensive midfield. This year we won regionals and won the state championship for 3a. Two years out of my highschool career, my team and I won state for our girl soccer team. I have played club for more than six years as a starter and I am currently on a club team called 05 Elite Players as a starting center back. We recently won the Las Vegas Heat Fall Invitational with only having one goal scored on us throughout the tournament. My club team and I went to regionals in Boise, Idaho where we took third place for our league and were put in the news paper for our hometown. 

As extra information, I do track and have been on varsity since freshman year. My freshman year was sadly cut short due to covid, however, I would’ve gone to state that year.  My sophomore and junior year I went to state for the 4x8. This year as a senior I plan to go to state again for the 4x8 and the open 800.
