Cailyn Benson '22 Recruiting Profile

I eat, live, and breathe soccer! I love being a goal keeper and there is nothing better than the feeling of when you step off the field knowing that you did the best you could and that you and your team fought hard for the win! People often say, "how can you be a goal keeper?"  I always have the same response, "It is the best position on the field and playing keeper has caused me to love the game more than ever!"  My goal as a keeper on a college team would to be the best  that I can be and not fight for myself, but fight for my team and my school! The thing that separates me from other candidates is that, as soon as the whistle blows, I smile because I know that what I did during the game was my "excellence".  I strive to receive the best grades that I can.  Much like the way I push myself in athletics, I push myself in academics.  For both, I will not relent until I am satisfied with my work. I would be a good candidate for your team because I am a great team player and I will always go that extra mile to push myself.
