The first time I ever played soccer was through my town's rec team in third grade. I loved everything about the game and especially the excitement of winning games. I stayed with it for a couple years and then realized that I wanted to be challenged and play at a more competitive level, so I joined a club team and have been playing club ever since along with school soccer. My passion for soccer grew when I realized how fun the challenge was of being able to push yourself and being surrounded by a group of girls who had the same goals as you. My club team and I attended the 2019 National Cup in Denver, Colorado and got third place overall. Soccer has made me realize that I love to work hard and that I’m always up for a new challenge. It has also taught me how to manage my time wisely between getting good grades and attending practices as well as games. I look forward to continuing my passion and becoming a better player. I hope to play at a D1 school and realize that I must continue to work and train hard to achieve that goal.
