Personal Statement
Dedicated to excellence both in sports and in the classroom. I hope to become a member of a collegiate team in which I can thrive, contribute and build life long skills and friends.
I am currently attending New Hampton School in NH, which has been an exiting life changing experience. Although it is only my first year attending private prep school, I have already learned so much. Being a boarding student has helped me grow as a person and I have loved the experience so far. Living on campus, I have taken a lot more responsibilities and have become more mature and self sufficient. I have learned how to be productive , efficient and timely. In the classroom I have worked hard to maintain a 3.9 GPA. I am taking rigorous courses such as honors biology, honors history, honors algebra two, and AP English, IB classes as well. I work well with my peers and enjoy group project and assignments. I take pride in being a student athlete and consider myself a leader.
My work ethic pushes me and constantly to improve and lead my teammates. With my primary position being attacking center midfielder, I have learned to work well and communicate effectively with my teammates. I am currently on the 05 Girls Academy team, playing for Seacoast United Soccer Club. The competitive level has challenged me in many ways but I have overcome the obstacles and continue to grow as a player everyday. Even over the past year, I have seen tremendous improvements as a player and teammate. I work hard every practice and see it as a was to get better. Because I am so driven, I also practicing on my own time and work on my fitness. I am a strong player and take pride in my endurance and fitness ability. I strive to one day play at an elite collegiate level. I am just as driven in the classroom as I am on the field. Private prep school is challenging and will help me succeed at the next level.
I look forward to further discussions, campus visits and finding the right fit.
