2016 HighlightsIn college, my goals are to earn a degree and continue to play the sport I love. Going into my junior year season, I am excited to take a leadership role on my school team and work to build the best team possible. I believe that it is very important to build a strong connection with team mates off the field so that chemistry on the field is that much stronger. After joining a new club team this spring, I found that I can easily adapt to different people and styles of play, and that I can also bring my own personal strengths to better a team. I am a strong leader on and off the field and feel as though others can look up to me for guidance. I think communication is one of the most important aspects of the game and I am never afraid to speak up whether I'm on the field, or the sideline. My strengths include being smart with the ball, distributing, and always being aware of what is going on around me. My vision enables me to anticipate where the ball is coming from and where it should go to create scoring opportunities. Although I am most comfortable in the middle of the field, I work just as hard in any position and can get the job done. I bring energy and passion with me every time I step on the field and hope to boost others energy when doing so.
Although I do not know exactly what I want to major in, I am exploring the medical field which has always interested me. My goal for my junior year is to narrow down what degree I would like to focus on and work hard in class to make that goal achievable. An education is very important to me. I have always worked and will continue to work on pushing myself to do my very best in the classroom and on the soccer field. I take pride in reaching goals and being able to create new ones because, I am always looking to become better at what I do. Soccer has become part of who I am and I'm excited to reach my goals for college and build upon them.
