Abby Schneider '21 Recruiting Profile

 Soccer has always been a huge part of my life, and at the end of the day is what I look forward to doing. It has shaped and defined who I am as a person. I am always ready to work my hardest in practice, and in games. I have an unending passion for the game, and I became aware of this when my team lost our state semifinal game in penalty kicks, for months after this game I was restless with thoughts of what I could have done differently to prevent it from going to penalty kicks. I believe that the passion that I have for the game, and leading my teammates, will be an important asset to any team. I am willing to put in the work and time that it takes to be one of the best players I can be. 

Academically, I work just as hard. I always strive to do my best and learn the most I can. I believe that I balance my academics and athletics extremely well. Even when we have a late game, and don't get home until 9 pm, I still make sure that homework is the first thing I get done. I understand that a good balance between academics and athletics is what it takes to be a successful student-athlete.
