Mikayla Kelley '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mikayla Kelley and I am a junior at Ballston Spa High School. I am a central midfielder who has been on Varsity and started since sophomore year. I also play central midfield and start on my premier soccer team for Nirvana 360 North 01/02 with Coach Dede Lleshi.  In addition, I’ve played for my Ballston Spa Strikers club team for 10 years where I am a starting center midfielder.

I am a quick and skillful player with great field vision who is known for excelling with passing skills and assists while making good decisions on the ball.  I always give 110% for my team and never give up no matter what the odds are.  This has enabled me to make a significant impact on my teams’ successes especially in clutch situations.  

I believe my strong academic accomplishments and active engagement with AP, IB and college level honors programs and I am in the top 10% of my class.  I continue to train actively with my U18 Nirvana 360 North 01/02 premier soccer team in our EDP league and at numerous upcoming college showcases while also playing on my Ballston Spa Strikers Club Team. I am currently maintaining this strong soccer background along with my Varsity Lacrosse team’s winter/spring activities which demonstrates my strengths as a highly fit and committed athlete who is passionate about soccer and able to balance these pursuits with exceptional academic achievement.
