As a soccer player, I exude passion and dedication both on and off the field. My love for the beautiful game started when i was 5 playing against my Dad , brother and cousins who were all football (soccer) players. This competitive environment not only helped me with my knowledge and skill level of the game but also proves to me that female athletes can compete at a high level with no limits. I competed in coed football (soccer) all my life and they always doubted me, and that's why I always felt the passion to prove to myself that I can. At the end of the day, it doesn't take a particular gender to be good at something, it takes love, passion and motivation to achieve your goals. I tore my ACL playing basketball just as I got an invite to my first soccer college camp and it devastated me, and at that time I was mentally broken. But true family and friends support I was able to find the courage and the confidents to do what I love. My desire for the game is unbreakable, teaching me to never give up, push through and give your all even its the last minute in a game or life. Ten years from now I hope to be captaining the US Women's national team winning for my country.
