Emerson Castle '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello College Coaches,

My name is Emerson Castle, a high school student-athlete eager to continue athletics at the collegiate level. Growing up I was very athletic, though I did not fully commit to a sport until I discovered soccer. Since then I have had a soccer ball glued to my foot at all times. Having started much later than most of my peers, I had to work twice as hard to get to where I am now. Dedicating my time and focus to learning and working to improve my skills as I gained love for this sport. Today soccer defines the person I am, it has taught me so much. Soccer has given me the opportunity to push myself past its limit and taught me how I am able to persevere through difficult times. Constantly seeking opportunities to challenge myself, perfecting my technical skills and overall abilities as a player and teammate. My dedication and willingness to put in the extra effort sets me apart from other players. 

I am a hard worker on and off the field. Maintaining a high GPA as an accelerated and honors student. I have learned how I am able to balance my academics and athletics at high levels. Planning on pursuing a degree in Elementary Education, a dream of mine since I was young, I am looking for a school that values both academics and athletics. 

I believe I can make a positive impact on any team I am a part of and I am excited for the opportunity to learn more about how I am able to continue this into college.
