Sophie Canzoneri '28 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sophie Canzoneri and I am currently in 9th grade with a 2028 graduation year and a passion for soccer.  I play both defense and midfield and just finshed my second year on the varisty team at Cold Spring Harbor High School, I played in 8th grade too.  This year I started as the center back for my team and often played in the 6 spot as well, when my team mate needed a break.  I am a very versitile player and can excel in both a defensive and midfield position.  I helped lead my team to the Nassau County Championships and then we went on to win The Long Island Championship.  We then went to SUNY Cortland where we won in the semi finals for the NYS Championship but unfortunatley lost in the finals.  I plan on getting my team back there since I have 3 more years as a varsity player.  I am very coachable, and pay attention to the details.  I love the game.
