I started playing soccer at a young age. I’ve always been interested in pushing myself to the highest level of play I can achieve. I play on two outside soccer teams and an outside lacrosse team, as well as playing school soccer, lacrosse, and winter track. I played junior varsity soccer for my school team and was pulled up to varsity for play-offs as a freshman. Through this experience I learned a lot about myself and about competing at a higher level. I learned that every minute at practice counts and that dedication is the key to success. The varsity team wound up losing the Long Island championship, in what came down to the last few minutes when we let up two goals.
I am a fast runner and have great ball control, which helps me on the field. My ability to see the field helps me to make the next best pass or know when to take a shot. Over the summer I ran my own practices with teammates to stay in top condition for the upcoming school season. I dedicated the mornings to pushing my teammates and myself to working our hardest to achieve our goals for the upcoming season.
