My name is Emily Taylor. I am a very coachable athlete that has a strong work ethic and passion for the sport. Additionally, because I am outgoing and approachable, I cherish and have excellent relationships with nearly all of my teammates and coaches. I am a balanced, disciplined, and versatile player who can play several positions on the field, though I do prioritize honing my skills in my main positions. I am a student who has straight As in the classroom and as a freshman, I am currently enrolled in one advanced course and intend to take many more as I move through high school. Although I am not entirely sure what I’d like to major in, criminal justice is one of my primary interests.
Playing soccer has always been a certainty in my life. It was almost inevitable that I would inherit such a passion for the sport because my dad, who is English, brought just that into our home. My ears have always been filled with the passionate commentary of pundits since the moment I was born. I started playing when I was about three years old, but at the time, neither my parents nor I ever even considered that I may play in college. However as I've grown older and improved, it's become abundantly clear to me that I want to continue my playing career after high school. Simply put, I love soccer, and I always have.
You can reach out to my club coach, Fabian Chaparro, at 914-450-4579, or [email protected]. Additionally, if you would like to reach out to my high school head coach, Joseph Callagy, his email is [email protected].
