Aspen Flynn '29 Recruiting Profile

 I am an extremely ambitious and outgoing freshman from upstate New York.  I played varsity soccer this year, scoring 12 goals and 9 assist and was selected for the Section V all tournament team.  I  have also been selected for the NY State West ODP Team, advancing to the East Regional event for the past 2 years.  When I am not on the field you can find me skiing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, hiking or camping with my family.  I play in the school band, marching band, and I am in chorus. I also played leading roles in our High School Musicals. 

 I love to travel with my family.  I have been to 42 states and by the time I get to college I will have been to all 50 states and at least 10 different countries.  

My mom is a school teacher, and my dad works for the Army Corps of Engineers.  My parents are also coaches, my dad is one of the varsity coaches has his US Soccer national coaching license.  I also have one sibling, a younger sister that is just as athletic and competitive as I am.  

Two of my best qualities as a player are being extremely coachable and being the hardest working player on the field.  I am very competitive and always try to be a positive leader and teammate.  I want to push my teammates to be their best and I love to celebrate their success with them. I always set a goal to score as many assists as goals each season. My favorite part of playing is all the fun experiences and all the memories I make with my teammates. 

I currently play on the New York State West ODP team (U14-2011).  My home club is Honeoye Lake United Soccer Club where I play on the U14 NY State Cup team as well as the U15 and U18 Teams.   

I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, I am only 14.  I do know that I want to continue playing soccer competitively, traveling, and making amazing memories with my teammates.
