My name is Ana Clara Matos, an 18 year old Brazilian soccer player currently in my freshman season at Southwestern Illinois College , NJCAA D1.

  I am exploring opportunities to continue my academic and athletic career at an institution where I can further develop both my soccer skills and academic pursuits.

  I am 5'2" and weigh 132 lbs. I primarily play as an attacking midfielder or on the wings (left/right). I pride myself on maintaining possession and initiating offensive plays from deeper positions on the field. Additionally, I am adaptable to playing a more physical style of soccer, which I understand is prevalent in the US game. My confidence in my passing skills allows me to make dynamic, strategic decisions during the match, as demonstrated in my highlight video linked below.

  I currently maintain a 4.0 GPA and actively represent the international student community at my college.
