Kayla Maslak '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kayla Maslak and I am a 17-year-old soccer player looking to play at the collegiate level. I started playing soccer 14 years ago through the Lancaster-Depew Soccer Club. Since then, I have joined my current team, WNY Flash Academy, where I have played for two years. I had the honor of being a team captain on my Flash team during the 2019/2020 season. I played for my high school's JV team for two years and I currently play on the varsity team. I became a captain of my JV team during my sophomore year of high school and I went on to play in the Section Finals with my varsity team, where we placed second. Being a captain for two teams has allowed me to demonstrate my leadership abilities on and off the field. My work ethic inspires me to not only become a better athlete but a better student as well. Playing soccer at the collegiate level will allow me to continue my academic studies while continuing to play the sport I love.
