Kylie Barkman '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kylie Barkman and I absolutely love my sport. I fell in love with soccer after playing town league from 5 years old and playing with my older brother in my backyard. I started playing club soccer with Plattsburgh FC when I was 10 at the u12 level and am now playing at the u18 level as a 16 year old. As for high school, I have started and played the entire game on varsity since freshman year. My strengths as a keeper include communication and reading penalties. I want to continue to develop in my position and improve my game through playing at the collegiate level. Along with soccer I also put my academics as a high priority, taking honors and college classes whenever available. As of the end of sophomore year I am 5 in my class of 205. As of my first half of junior year I am 7 in a class of 207. I pride myself in being successful in both athletics and academics.

As of spring 2025, my Plattsburgh FC team has aged out. I am now a member of Nordic Soccer Club out of Essex Junction, VT. I play for the u-18 girls team coached by Erin Murphy. She can be contacted at [email protected].

Fun fact-in the off season I am a member of my high school's competitive cheer team and play varsity lacrosse.
