Abigail Stapleton '26 Recruiting Profile

     My name is Abigail Stapleton and I am a dedicated student-athlete, passionate about soccer. I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old and currently play for the NY Surf ECNL RL '08 and for Massapequa High School. I have always worked hard to develop my skills and deepen my understanding of the game. I am coachable and always seek feedback to improve as a player. I am a team leader and continue to work hard to earn the trust of my teammates. As a result, I was recently ranked as the 13th Best Defender in NYS by Prep Soccer. 

      In addition to soccer, I am a multisport athlete who competes in basketball, flag football, skiing, and softball. My competitive nature extends to the classroom, where I maintain a 96% GPA and take challenging AP and Accelerated courses. I am a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Newspaper Club, SAAD, and the Buddies Club, which supports students with special needs academically and athletically. I also organize an annual fundraiser during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which reflects my commitment to making a difference in my community.

     My goal, as a true student-athlete, is to continue to challenge myself academically and athletically at the college level. With my impressive skills, leadership qualities, and dedication to success, I would be a valuable addition to any college soccer program.
