Soccer has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Oswego, a small-minded, conservative, city in Central New York, it would have been easy to follow my peers in their apathetic attitudes and acceptance of mediocrity. Instead, I choose to push myself to be better in everything I do. When I graduate from high school I will have an associate degree in mechanical engineering. I plan to get a higher degree in mechanical engineering or get a degree in civil engineering. My dedication to this sport can be seen in the relationships I have built with teammates and coaches; the thousands of dollars I have spent working with professionals; the hours I expended working out, practicing, and playing; and the sacrifices I have made to prioritize this dream.
