Personal Statement

I would like to play collegiate level Division III soccer while attending college.  My major is Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology.  I'm looking for a medium sized college that offers the programs that are in my major and minor.  It is an important goal for me to be able to continue to play soccer in college which is my passion. I have played since the age of 6 years old and started playing for my club team at age 9 years old. I am my teams goal keeper and captain. I am a positive leader on the field and I am the type of person to help pick my teammates up when they are down.  I work hard always during the season and in the off season to improve my skills. I am always looking to my coaches to help me improve in areas that I might struggle with.  I strive to be the best that I can be at all times on and off the field. Keeping my grades up is very important to me as well and I will do what it takes no matter what to make sure that I always do my very best. I know that my academics are what is most important in helping me achieve my future goals.  If I get the chance to play soccer in college I believe that I would make a great addition to any team. I'm a team player, tough, fearless, a hard worker,  positive leader, coach-able, always looking to improve myself, passionate about soccer and being the best goal keeper I can be.

Sincerely,

Meaghan Miller
