I am a senior graduating from Saugerties High School in June of 2020. I am looking into colleges in the pursuit of studying the arts, design, film, and a variety of other topics. I have been playing soccer since I was in 9th grade, starting in AYSO, then joining JV soccer, and later Varsity soccer at my High School. I am also apart of the KASL 19U Women's Soccer Team, and have gone to Tournaments in New Jersey, Saratoga, etc., and more recently played in the "Mad Dog Tournament" in Saratoga this past June.
Even though I haven't been playing for very long I have been playing sports since I was small and have always had a competitive attitude for a variety of different sports. More specifically, I have been playing Ice Hockey since I was eight and even though it is extremely different from soccer I believe it has lended me many skills to the game of soccer.
As a soccer player, my position have varied between defense and halfback, but in each position I have been very aggressive, unselfish with the ball, and proficient in a few moves. As a person, I am truly the kind that has "a wandering mind" but I believe soccer reels in my mind to ultimate focus. I am a generally sweet person and don't like to bring any negativity to the game even if we are losing. I am also quiet but can be very loud, patient, coordinated, and thoughtful in everything I do. As of today, I am reaching for Sectionals, Colleges, and the chances and opportunities that my last year in high school will bring me.
Furthermore, I am hoping to pursue soccer in college and am fully confident in my skills as a soccer player and person to succeed in this sport and my life ahead.
