Gianna Rutigliano '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Gianna Rutigliano. I am a junior at Newfield High School in New York and graduating class of 2023. I've been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and made a huge impact in my life. Ever since I was little I loved and enjoyed playing soccer. It has become very important in my life and I would love to take it to the next level by playing collegiate soccer. Playing soccer my whole life helped me work hard, make friends, and be competitive.  

I've been playing high school soccer for 3 years with 2 years as a starting varsity player along with my club team. I am also involved in multiple clubs and other sports at my school. I am the treasurer of my class, part of National Honor Society, part of DECA club, Yearbook Club, and Varsity Leaders Club. During the winter and spring school sport season I run on the Middle Country Varsity Track team.  Even with all the clubs and sport teams I'm involved in I also work at a local pizza place near me and I am able to maintain a 4.0 GPA in all honor and college classes. I am looking for a school that will help me have the right balance between school and soccer.
