Christina Scopelliti '16 Recruiting Profile

    I am a well rounded person and versatile soccer player who plays both offensive and defensive positions. I am hard-working and determined to succeed. I have played soccer both for recreation teams and with my travel team for over 7 years. I have a good work ethic and I also train individually to improve my skills and speed.  My Primary position is midfielder and my secondary position is right forward. My dominant foot is right, but I can shoot from the left corner and position the ball in front of the net. I can also shoot the ball from 25 yards out and I have a good record of scoring as a midfielder.

    I have had many challenges to overcome with family struggles but I have always put effort into my schoolwork and my community. I have volunteered my time with my community by being an assistant teacher. I also have been volunteering my time for the past 2 years with several charity events such as Light the Night walk to raise awareness for Leukemia and the Breast Cancer Walk. Both are held on Staten Island, NY.  I know I am committed to being not only a great soccer player but a good student and person.
