Madison Jakubek '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Madison Jakubek, MJ is my nickname, I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old.  My love for soccer is very strong and I would love to play at a college level that would challenge me and make me better.  I made the J.V. team in eighth grade and started as a center back.  I have been playing at the club level and for my current team, Force FC NY, I start as a defending center mid, but get rotated throughout the back line as needed.  In school I have made honor-role every semester since the fifth grade, and have participated in a couple clubs such as S.A.D Club (students against destructive decisions), Lego League, and Green Team. Ever since middle school academics have always been very important.  I would like to aim in taking a law major, and I am looking forward to going to a 4+ year school to gain education around a career I would like to pursue.  Within my community I have been a girl scout, referee, lifeguard, and participate in fundraising through my church to help many different people who need food, disaster relief, and support.  I am a competitive player, so as I do love to win, I also take the loses and see what I could've done better to contribute to the team.  Commitment is something I have, and I'm always open to any feedback.  With any team I have ever been on I always am uplifting and positive, and if anyone has ever needed anything (on or off the field) I have been there for them.  I believe that as a team we should all have a bond (along with the coaches), and I believe that open communication is key.
