Melina Ortiz '20 Recruiting Profile

I am A dedicated student. 2nd in my class. I challenge myself to take the advanced classes and AP classes when available.  I am an extremely versatile player.  I am comfortable playing Defensive back, outside back, or an attacking positions.  My speed is one of my greatest strengths. (Qualified for States in the 300m the past two years.)  One thing I am very proud of is my left foot.  I have worked very hard to develop my left foot to be as equal as my right.  My club and ODP coach will play me left or right depending on the need.
