Ava Carter '27 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since i was 4 years old. when i was younger i had been doing a few types of dance as well as gymnastics but i had eventually started playing soccer. since the moment i stepped on that field for the first time, i knew that soccer is what i want to do. i have always aspired to continue my soccer career in College and possibly even further. 

i have strived to improve to my be the best teammate and player i can be. i always enjoyed stepping onto the field whether it is to train by myself on my local fields or training with friends and teammates. i have been nominated and selected for many sports awards specifically in the sportsmanship and leadership area. i am always willing to show up to practice ready to lead and be prepared to help and encourage my teammates. coaches have described me as a strong leader and teammate both on and off of the field. 

aside from my leadership skills, i am very coachable and willing to do what it takes to improve. i work hard not only on the field but in the classroom. i study and prepare to keep up with the material and to learn new things. i always like to push myself and dig deeper into what i am learning in the classroom and in the real world. i enjoy volunteering at local homeless shelters and i hope to find more and more volunteer opportunities  as time goes on. 

i work hard all year round on and off the field. i work my hardest to become a hard working and determined player. 

i enjoy improving in as many areas on the field as i can. i have been put in every position but have found that i have the strongest natural and learned abilities on defense whether i am playing center back outside back or even goalie. i am able to stay on the ball whether i have it or i am defending an opposing player. i will cover for my teammates when needed and will help and guide them if needed. i am very good in games and at practices. i practice how i play. 

i want to attend college where i will be pushed in the classroom and on the field. i hope to become the best i can on the field and off the field. i am open to many options. my mom has made a major impact on my life and i hope to continue to make her proud as i go on in life.
