Initially, I did not think it possible to play in college due to compartment syndrome, a condition that I have dealt with for years. However I have still maintained a position on Triangle United's top team as a starter despite the constant pain and am about to undergo a surgery to eliminate it and return at the start of the school season, ready to train without any limitations. I will also participate in track and swimming while prioritizing soccer and school, where I plan to continue to push myself with the most challenging classes that are offered, as well as taking additional language classes during the summer that are not offered in my school. Aside from soccer and school, I am an artist who plans on completing the AP art course, a part of the school's co-ed A cappella group, an active member or a leader in many clubs, an advocate for service learning (with over 200 hours so far), and a member of my town's Student Advisory Board. I believe I will be capable of providing the commitment, dedication, and effort needed to be a part of a college team.
