Personal Statement
Soccer has been a sport I have grown up around, and been a part of since kindergarten. Growing up I have played on elementary, middle, club and high school teams. For the most part these teams have been succesful and enjoyable. I began to learn many skills when I started to play club soccer my sixth grade year. Catawba Valley Youth Soccer Association (CVYSA) in Hickory, NC was the team my family decided to play for. I have had numerous coaches, and each of them with different strengths in coaching. Having so many coaches has made me not only a better player as in skill but in strength. College in soccer has been a goal in my life ever since I started playing, and I would love to further my soccer experience. My dad is my number one fan, and even though it is costly and time consuming, he always figures out a way to pay for it and be there. Living with a single father has made it tough on money, so when I reach college we plan on using financial aid to help pay for it. My father and I have come to a cconclusion that we will figure something out to for me play in college. I would love to play for any school, in any division, just because I love to play. Size does not really matter to me as long as I am able to play soccer and enjoy it. As a freshmen I would love to play on a varsity team in college, but I am more than willing to play any level I can get involved in. When my goal of soccer in college is met, I plan on giving that team everything I have on and off the field, in every practice and game. I want to keep my grades up pretty high, and be very successful in my education as well. I'll give everything I have in my body for each game, no matter what the score is, or what team were playing.
