End of my sophomore year, I verbally committed to continue for academic and athletic career at Western Carolina. As I am now a rising senior, I am blessed and look forward to the years of hard work to come. I am very fortunate to have 13 years of experience playing this sport I love. Starting at the age of four, I played recreational soccer for 5 years, then moved into Club level Academy at age nine. This training then prepared me to play at the Open level from U11 through U13. I took the opportunity to transition into ECNL at U14. Last year, I finished my first year at Piedmont Triad Futbol Club at the Premier Level. At this time, I am currently playing at NC Fusion ECNL. I also played for my high school Varsity Soccer Team as a freshman at Southwest Guilford High School., now through my junior year. Through all of this training, I competed at multiple levels under many different coaches in diverse roles on the field as a striker, midfielder and defender. I know this makes me an asset for any team that I play in the future.
My academic success is fueled by perseverance, hard work and internal motivation. I excel in fine arts as I have played the flute for five years. Two summers, I was selected through application to attend two weeks at High Point University through High Point Police Department working on building leadership skills and helping my community. Last summer I applied and was accepted as a Leader in Training at Betsy Jeff Penn 4-H summer camp working with children and being the best positive role model to them. I loved all of it.
On the field and off, I am a leader, hard worker, and I am highly coach able. I purpose myself to prepare completely for any competition, tests, or challenge laid before me. I feel the key to my success is preparation.
