Patricia Barnes '21 Recruiting Profile

Being the only freshman on the high school varsity team gave me an incredible boost in confidence and I was reassured in my skills. The many years playing the game I love continuously highlights my determination and persistence. There is never a task or challenge I am willing to give up on and I always strive to get better and be the best at what I do. Over the years, both my parents have really pushed me to do what I love, and sticking with the game of soccer and constantly trying to improve has always been both enjoyable and challenging.

In high school, my goal is to graduate as valedictorian with all A's and play on the varsity team all four years. I hope to further my education in college while playing the sport I love. I aspire to graduate college as a veterinarian, as well as further my athletic career, and I hope to study and play for a school that can help me achieve these goals. I believe that someone with strong character, determination, and a great work ethic can have a strong impact on a team and in a school. As a well-rounded athlete with a strong personality, I know that I am willing to take on any challenge that comes my way and I look forward to being a member of your team!
