Hi, my name is Isabella Siler and I am currently a Junior at East Davidson high school. I have played many different sports my entire life, but soccer has my heart. I have been playing soccer for 14 years ( since I was 3) and I have almost always played Center Back or Defensive Mid. Soccer has my heart because I learned the joy of playing it from my dad. My mindset when it comes to soccer is the same as everything in my life, anything less than 100% effort is unacceptable, yet another thing I learned from my dad who had to overcome a stroke, and still passes with me all the time. What sets me apart from other players is my dedication to not only being a better player but also a better person. I know how valuable hard work and dedication are to any team, and I aim to maintain a reputation as one of the hardest workers, like my dad. I am committed to excelling academically as well as athletically, and I believe the values I have learned from soccer, such as teamwork, perseverance, and leadership, will serve me in my college education and beyond.
