Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Gracie Rinker and I am attending Tuscola High School in the class of 2025. Athletics has always been a passion of mine, from being on the field to watching soccer games online! Through my years of playing soccer, I have learned that work ethic is everything and to not take anything for granted. I work hard in school while also competing and training on my various teams. I want to attend a college that will give me a strong education as well as a challenging, competitive, and fun soccer program. As a competitor, I am a hard worker who never settles for anything less than my best effort and works to improve areas of weakness. My hard work was proven my freshman year when I played my first year of varsity soccer. I played 20 games, scored 13 goals, 6 assists, 32 points for my team, and an All-Conference Honorable Mention; all while juggling all honors level classes. I have big goals for myself that I will continue working to reach. A goal of mine for sophomore year was to be a starter again, and not only am I that, I am also a team captain! During training, and on my own time, I work to improve my awareness, speed and skills. My personality is a big strength of mine, I am not afraid to communicate on the field and I always maintain a good relationship with my teammates and coaches. As a student, I am productive and strive to have good grades, while always producing my best work. I am in all honors classes and love challenging myself. I look forward to earning the opportunities in my future and am ready to work hard to achieve my goals!
