Delaney Parker '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, my name is Laney Parker and I plan to take my passion and drive for soccer to the collegiate level. This year I moved from where I have lived my whole life to somewhere several states away, so I have learned how to quickly adjust to new teams and be a leader. Something I focus on, not just in soccer but overall is goal setting. This year my goals were to get straight A's despite taking many honors and AP classes, get elected as a student government officer even though I was new to the school and have 15 goals and 7 assists in my high school season. With my drive and hard work, I was able to achieve and surpass those goals. I know that this trait is helping me improve and my goal for this upcoming year is to move forward as much as possible in the college recruiting process and continuing to improve as a player and teammate. I have been described as very coachable, driven, and a positive leader. Besides being the best player I can be, my goal is to always hype up my team because being a great teammate is just as important as being a good player. I have faced a lot of hardships in the past few years and the one thing that was always there for me (besides my family) was soccer so I know that I want to keep it in my life as I move on to college.
