Isabella Cunningham '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Isabella Cunningham and I am a Class of 2027 Central midfielder for St. Clairsville High school in Ohio. I currently play at St. Clairsville Highschool, where I am a 3 year starter, and at Club Ohio United. I am a highly motivated athlete driven by an enjoyment for competition and desire to contribute to my team.  As I've gotten older I've learned to appreciate every part of the sport from celebrating victories with my teammates, to the competitive atmosphere, and even sometimes the loses as the present a new opportunity to improve. The biggest part of my athletic identity, however, comes from my love for the game and my dedication to improving on and off the field. I currently have a 3.72 GPA and am enrolled in advanced classes. 

 My biggest advantage on the field is my versatility and ability to adapt. Between my club and high school teams, I have played in a variety of positions including, outside back, winger, and striker , alongside my usual defensive and attacking midfield positions. I believe this to be a crucial part of my game and who I am as an athlete. This is a passion that pushes me on the field and in the classroom, which I hope to carry with me in my life after high school as a college athlete.
