Personal Statement

They say in order to be a goalie you have to be a little crazy and fearless..thats exactly what I am. My primary goal is to be chosen to play for a college team, and I know that it takes hard work and dedication. I am prepared to work as hard as I need to in order to succeed. Every day of my life, I hope to play for the U.S. Women's soccer team, and with them, fight our way through the challenges of the Olympics to obtain the GOLD! I am 5'4, which is not the typical height of a goal keeper, but I am very athletic. I practice every day even if my team doesn't have practice. I have been playing soccer, basketball, and softball since I was old enough to start school. I started playing youth soccer at the age of 5 and haven't stopped since. I continued to play youth league until my 7th and 8th grade years when I became a starting player for the South Point Middle School co-ed soccer team. I then moved up to become a Varsity player for the SPHS co-ed soccer team my Freshmen, Sophomore, and Junior years. My Senior year was the first year for the women's soccer team at SPHS, where I was honored to be chosen as Captain. This was my first year playing goal keeper, and I fell in love with the position. Soccer is my life and I can't live without it!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
