My previous club team was the Southwest SC Gold Academy, based in the Dayton, Ohio area. The team competes in the BPYSL and OSSL, as well as many of the major college showcases throughout the country. My coach was Stephen Hauter, who holds a U.S.S.F. ‘A’ License and is the Director of Coaching for our club and the Director of Ohio’s Olympic Development Program. Coach Hauter also played in college and professionally, and has coached collegiately and professionally as well. Having him mentor me about what is expected and needed out of a college athlete in invaluable to me. For the 2019 season, I have transferred to FC United under Coach Scott Norris. We will be competing in the BPSL at the State level.
I have recently become very serious about playing in college and Coach Hauter and our Seniors Development Academy has provided excellent training and exposure for me. My contributions have helped our team capture 17 tournament Championships and League titles over the previous 4 years and have been the finalist in almost a dozen more.
While I primarily play the forward positions, my aggressive style, and vision to distribute the ball, allows me to play multiple positions on the field. My coaches are developing me as an offensive player with the capability to play successfully in college.
I am very dedicated to the sport supplementing my club and high school team training by working with individual trainers, attending multiple camps and enjoying other physical fitness activities.
I work very hard outside of my team with individual training and attending multiple soccer camps, University of Dayton soccer camp, working out at the gym, and running to prepare myself for what I expect in college.
I know that my club play is much more important preparation for playing in college, but I also like representing my school on the Butler High School soccer team, where I am proud to have lettered for the Varsity team as a freshman. More importantly, I have strong academics with a 4.183 GPA while taking Honors classes. I am working toward the National Honor Society. In addition, I am in FEA (Future Educators of America Club) and Muse Machine. My plans are to major in Education in college.
