A college that can give me both academic opportunities and athletic opportunities is what matters to me most. I'd be extremely excited to be able to continue playing the sport I love while going to college to study nursing. I like to believe that when I play soccer, I play with heart. Having fun, while staying serious and determined to better myself, is how I play my best. I'm all about positivity and believe that with a positive mindset, anything can be accomplished. Supporting my teammates and encouraging them every step is also another thing I contribute to being a successful player. Having shoulder surgery the spring of my freshman year made me unable to play sophomore year and gave me a whole new perspective of the game. It was a struggle, but after a little while I realized that I needed to take it all in and come back stronger. I worked in the off season by playing club and enhancing my playmaking abilities. Junior year I was able to play the whole season and my coach depended on me as a key playmaker and I'm even more excited to get better at that role senior year. 2018 is my senior year and I hope to help lead my team to our first sectional win and beyond. I have learned so much from high school soccer, but I definitely think I am ready for a shot at the next level.
