Ayla Bernhard '22 Recruiting Profile

Hey. My name is Ayla Elizabeth Bernhard. I am 17 years old and I live in Guelph Ontario which is located in Canada! I just graduated from grade 11 and I am entering grade 12 in the Fall and I attend John F Ross CVI also located in Guelph Ontario.  For my post secondary I would love to do something in the health sciences area, this is probably based off my love for soccer. I really enjoy school and do quite good at it as well.

Due to my love of school I am also apart of some very fun clubs and teams including the cross country team, track and field, french club, fitness club and I also help set up sport inter-murals for my school. For cross country I made it for OFSAA in grade 9 and 10 and for West OFSAA for track and field in the event 100m hurdles. 

Outside of school I am on my North Mississauga OPDL U17 girls team for this team I am a Co- Captain and was called up to the NMSC league 1 team. (highest non professional league in Ontario) In the off season when my soccer team is not in hard core training mode I am also apart of a mostly boys U18 futsol leauge.  I also Referee for my local club. 

On 2019-04-20 at 14.8 years old I participated in the RBC training Ground (A Canadian wide search of Athletes who might have Olympic potential) I placed above average in 2 of the 4 events,  30m Sprint 4.81 and Leger 20m Shuttle Run 10.02. Where as the national averages for these events between 14 and 19 year old girls is 4.80 and 7.24 respectively.  Unfortunately I can not upload a Adobe file to this platform but would be more than happy to forward this Athlete Report to you if you like.
