I have been playing soccer ever since I could walk. It was the first thing that I have ever fallen in love with. Many people look at soccer as just 22 players kicking a ball but without it I wouldn't be the person I am today. I have yearned to play at the collegiate level since I was 7 years old and having this opportunity is a dream come true.
I am great technically and tactically. I can see the game very well and have excellent footwork. I believe being a centre back or holding midfield, I must be able to see every aspect of the game and be able to anticipate things 3 seconds before anyone else. I believe I do acquire this ability. I am very calm on the ball and always look to keep possession and make the most effective pass or run. I am very attentive and always listen and learn from any coach's opinions and advice. I lead my teammates with my voice and my play and strive to be a leader.
I am freshman at Glenforest Secondary School in Ontario. I am apart of the International Baccalaureate Program which is an International pre-university program which offers a challenging curriculum at a global perspective. My dream is to play soccer at a professional level and then become lawyer.
I want to attend a college which is both academically and athletically challenging. I believe I am able to handle the workload and still have an amazing college experience with teammates and coaches. I hope that one day I can accomplish all of my goals and be a role model to many players and students.
