I am an attacking midfielder for AIFC, and have played all midfield positions in the past. League 1 Ontario (semi-pro) is the highest soccer level in the Province of Ontario... it is a stepping stone between the high-performance youth level and elite amateur & professional levels. I am playing in U21 Women's League 1, while I am 16 years old. I have played soccer since I was 3 years old. As I got older, it became a major athletic focus in my life, and I joined a competitive team at the age of 10. Since then, I have been constantly training and working hard to improve and learn new skills and techniques to better my performance. My goal is to be focusing on my dream of becoming a surgeon and attending a top school with a strong soccer program. On the field, I am communicative toward my teammates, a leader, and highly competitive with the game. Prior to competitive soccer, I was a competitive swimmer (earned numerous gold medals), learned the art of Tae kwon do, and joined multiple school sports to stay active. In grade 8, I was called up to join my school’s grade 12 soccer team, and won the U18 regional school tournament as the team MVP & highest scorer in the tournament. In high school so far, I have played as the captain of the school soccer team as a midfielder.
Academics is also an extremely important aspect in my life. At a young age, I skipped a grade and have been the youngest student in every grade since. In addition to being a grade ahead, I am a straight-A student with a 97% average, and I love to get involved with the school academically and athletically. I am a school prefect leader as well as an ambassador, and love taking on new leadership opportunities.
I have volunteered at a physiotherapy clinic since last year to gain experience in a medical-related field. I have also started my own business privately coaching youth soccer to children aged 6-12.
