Courtney Poelman '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a very dedicated hard working athlete and student interested in a career in medicine, I would like to be an orthopaedic surgeon. My ideal school would offer a program  in that field of study And would also offer a sports program so I can continue to play at a high level.

I play both soccer and hockey at a high level and have been looked upon by my coaches as a captain and a leader on my teams. I work hard at every practice and am a consistent contributor in games. I love to compete and I love to improve. 

School is important to me and I also work hard to learn and to achieve my academic goals. I have good study habits and very good time management skills. I have had to learn to manage my time because of how busy my schedule is with sports and school.
