Sadie Waite '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing the game of soccer since I was 4 years old, and have wanted to play soccer for a college team as long as I can remember.  The idea of being able to play the game I love at a college level, for 4 years, while making life long friends, and getting a top-quality education sounds pretty amazing to me. When I turn on my TV and look up to see all of the amazing young women making their mark on soccer, it puts a smile on my face.   I want to feel the  excitement  and hear the sound of the soaring ball touch the back of the white mesh.  I want to feel that rush when that final whistle is blown in a close, hard-fought battle of a 2-1 game and we come out on top.  I want that! One of my goals is to one day be holding that College Cup trophy, alongside life-long friends and staff that have become some of my #1 supports during my time at the school.  I will strive to be in the running for the MAC Herman Trophy and  to be put on the list with legends that have come before me.   That would be unreal!

I can commit to you that I will work as hard as possible for you and your team. I will be a smiling face at the practices, be a  motivator for  my teammates, and give 100% effort until the final whistle is blown, I will do as much as possible to be a part of building a great team and program.  I am a kind, loving, hard working team player. 

I am a very strong student and my goal is to excel both in the classroom and on the field.  I strive to give do my best in both academics and athletics.  I have shown in years before that I am able to balance being both an elite athlete and a focused student. I will continue to try and do the best in everything I do.
