My name is Leah, I am in the class 2022 at Parkdale CI Toronto, Ontario. I have a 4.0 gpa in the IB program, and I am an attacking midfielder for Woodbridge Strikers Soccer Club.
I have been playing soccer for 13 years, mostly as an attacking midfielder. It's my favourite sport that I've grown very attached to, and it has opened me up to being a multi-sport athlete. I also do Cross Country, Track, swimming, and a bunch of other team-sports I've been a part of throughout high school. I enjoy the athletic atmospheres in sports, and ideally I hope to find a soccer team with great team-culture and motivation. I want to continue playing elite soccer in college and beyond all the while becoming a better athlete and player to see how good I can get.
I love school and have always strived and maintained success in academics alongside sports. I have a 4.0 GPA in the IB program, and I am on track to getting honour roll for my 4th year. I am excited to go into an elite academic program that is more focused to what I'm interested in. It's also my second year of being a peer leader in the WEB program. It's given me the chance to connect to more people and help younger grades navigate through high school.
My collegiate goals are to play elite soccer alongside pursuing my academic interests. I hope to be in an environment with like-minded people.
