My life goal since my high school freshman year was always clear. To go into the medical field and play soccer in college. During that time I discovered a verse from the book of Jeremiah in the bible; "For I know the plans I have for you", declared the Lord "Plans to prosper and guide and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). That verse impacted me immensely. It gave me motivation to work and discipline myself. I had to initiate His plans. School came first and soccer right after. Now that I am the starting goal keeper for Multnomah University (first year program 2018) my new life goal is to potentially work my way up from NAIA. I am forever grateful for this opportunity at Multnomah and I will use it to learn a lot and grow. I hope more opportunities come up from this because I have so much to offer and learn. As a freshman goalkeeper here I have made a CCC record ( 2nd place) for most saves (24) in a single match in history. My determination and mindset differ me from the average player. Not only do I want what's best on the field but in school too.
