Abigail Burns '22 Recruiting Profile

I have a big passion for soccer and I aspire to compete at the collegiate level. I am coachable, take leadership roles and am a very versatile player. I am comfortable playing center back in defense, but also enjoy the attack. I love the camaraderie of my teammates and love when we come together to play really good soccer.  Soccer and school are my highest priorities. I have taken both IB and AP courses and I am currently on an IB Health Career pathway.  I see Medical School in my future.

I set high standards in everything I do and work hard to achieve them. I also find time to be creative with ceramics, painting, and photography and I am teaching myself to play the guitar.

While I am graduating from HS in 2021, due to the COVID pandemic, I plan to take a gap year and stay with my club an additional year while continuing to find a place to play soccer at a higher level. This effectively makes me a 2022 recruit.
