Taya Mendoza '22 Recruiting Profile

 As I enter my second year of college At Green River, my goal is to pursue a degree in Health Sciences. Over the past year, I have been able to maintain a 3.5 GPA, work 20 hours a week, and always attend daily practice. My 13 years of experience playing soccer have given me the passion to be dedicated to the sport. I have a true joy in soccer. I trained as a defender, then moved into a midfield position for 3 years as well. Which has given me the ability to approach both offense and defense with a unique perspective. In college, I'm primarily a left or right center-back. I'm the consistent set piece taking on my college team. I'm dominantly right-footed but feel very confident using my left foot. I would like to continue my soccer career after this last year at Green River.
