Maya Johnson '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Maya Johnson. I am a highly self-driven, hard-working, and gritty player, and will make a great asset to any team. I am very drawn to teams with a deep sense of community, friendship, and competitive spirit, as that is what helps players thrive (in a positive learning environment). In college I hope to pursue a medical degree in either dermatology, cardiology or neurology. Also I truly want to play soccer at a high level in college as I can picture myself prospering in the D1/D2 competitive soccer community. I am definitely different than any other candidate/recruit you have seen because I work 110% at everything I do (whether it's in the classroom or out on the soccer field), and I never back down from a challenge. In fact, I enjoy being in highly competitive situations, because I tend to do/play better, and I grow and learn far more.
