Ava Martins '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ava Martins, from Portland, Oregon. I have played club soccer since I was 8 years old, and since the beginning, I knew I wanted to play in college. I am hardworking and always looking to improve mentally and physically on the ball and off. I am very coachable, and am hungry for knowledge and ways to improve my game! 

I have one more year of eligibility and after the news of my current school's closure, I am looking for somewhere to compete and finish my college career. Although I had setbacks with injury, I am working hard to better my academic standing, and have done so this past term completing my classes with 4.0. I am looking for a competitive college atmosphere with a coaching staff that will push me and hold me and the team accountable. I am dedicated to success on and off the field and will continue to work hard to get to the place I want to be. I know I would be a great contribution to your soccer program!
